Description

A delicious blend of sweet pineapple, savory ham, and perfectly stir-fried rice. This Hawaiian Fried Rice recipe is quick, easy, and packed with flavor!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice (cold, day-old preferred)
  • 1 cup diced ham or spam
  • ¾ cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  • Scramble eggs, then set aside.
  • Sauté ham and garlic until lightly browned.
  • Add rice, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • Toss in pineapple chunks and cooked eggs, mix well.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve hot!

Notes

  • Cold, day-old rice works best.
  • Add chili flakes for spice.
