- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 12 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ⅓ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: spinach, mushrooms, red pepper flakes, parsley
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Add butter and garlic to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until thickened.
- Return chicken and pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat. Adjust with reserved pasta water.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
